Wednesday 20 February at 7:30pm - Quiz Evening at The Bridge Inn EX3 0QQ
 
Paula has arranged yet another amusing and testing quiz intended for everyone!
 
It will be a “bring and share evening” as in the past. Please bring a clipboard or similar as we will all be sat in comfy chairs around a blazing heater in the “pink room”. The usual guest beers will be available too!

Saturday 16 March at 2:30pm - Howells and the Organ at Crediton PC EX17 2AH
 
Andrew explores the music of Herbert Howells. This will be in the form of a lecture/recital using the fine romantic 3-manual Harrison organ.
 
The afternoon ends with a cup of tea at 4pm. 
 
Donations to the Crediton Church Music foundation.

Saturday 11 May from 10:30am - AGM at St Swithun’s Church Woodbury EX5 1HR
 
Come and play the Brindley and Foster/HNB organ from 10:30am and then assert your right to vote on agenda items for the year at 12 noon, followed by lunch at the Maltsters Arms EX5 1LN at 1:00pm (£8.95).  After lunch there will be an opportunity to play skittles against other members and guests.

Saturday 22 June at 6:00pm - President's Evening Concert at St Margaret’s Church, Topsham, EX3 0HL
 
Peter has organised a splendid evening being entertained by the Exeter Cathedral’s Choristers with Timothy Noon and Tim Parsons organ.
 
Canapés & drinks at 6:00pm, concert starting 7:00pm with the Boys/Girls of Exeter Cathedral Choir directed by Timothy Noon with Timothy Parsons at the organ.
 
Members £8, Non-members £12 includes concert, canapés and a glass of wine.

Saturday 6 July - trip to Bath

Trip includes visit to St John's and St Mary's churches Bathwick to play the organs, and to Bath Abbey to hear a recital on the mighty Klais organ by the Director of Music, Huw Williams - and afterwards to play the instrument.

 

Saturday 21 September - trip to Ashburton, Buckfastleigh and Totnes

The trip includes a visit to the organ works of William Drake Ltd and visits to play at St John's Totnes and St Andrew Ashburton.

 

Saturday 12 October - trip to Torbay

Opportunities to play at St John the Apostle, St Mary Magdalene Torquay, and St John the Baptist Paignton (possibly St Matthias, depending upon re-ordering).

Tuesday 12 November - Annual Dinner at The Ruffwell Inn, Thorveton

Guest Speaker: The Revd Chris Palmer, Canon Chancellor, Exeter Cathedral
